It is remarkable the low pressure anomaly which has been dominating across Western Europe and the high pressure anomaly across Northern European Russia.
Temperatures:
While it has been cold/extremely cold in Western Europe, most of Scandinavia and European Russia have been warm/very warm.
Precipitation:
It is remarkable the extremely wet summer which has taken place across Southern Norway and Sweden. Also across the Baltic republics, Belarus, Ukraine and Russian South region.
On the meanwhile, Alpine region, most of France and the whole UK have recovered from the severe drought of last spring.
